Two hot up-coming comedians are bringing their top-notch comedy to Europe and their next stop is Paris! Qin Wang and Basile are on a comedy tour with one sole purpose... give European crowds the hilarious night they deserve. Qin holds a number of awards and nominations of prestigious comedy competitions and is represented by The Comedy Store. Along with Basile they decided to try and take over Europe with their fresh international comedy. Among others, you’ll learn why Western festivals make no sense to Chinese people, and how Disney movies are not exactly teaching the French the art of humility.
The show takes place at a 12th century bar near the Pantheon. The atmosphere is really cool, and you can find a big variety of beers and drinks. The bar stays open after the show, if you wish to have a late drink and if you're coming alone, don't worry, you'll feel like you are among friends.
**Reservations are for free and you pay at the door what you want. We recommend 12 euros for a working adult and 7 for a student.
YOUR COMEDIANS:
Chin(Qin) Wang born and raised in China, she left her homeland for the UK at the tender age of 18. At the still-tender age of 28, she had enough of both countries and decided to talk some shit. She likes to complain about the oddities of British culture, the illogical language of English, and also lecture a few hazard warnings for any first-generation immigrants from East Asia to Europe. Chin is a regular at the world famous Comedy Store and she was Olga Koch’s tour support. She has won several prestigious comedy awards, including the renowned "King Gong" at The Comedy Store and she was nominated for BBC’s New Comedy Award in 2022.
Basile brings the Frenchness no one asked for. Usually, asking a French person to perform comedy (or pronounce simple words) in English would be enough to keep them away, but oddly enough, Basile has been hammering the international comedy scene for years. From Hong Kong to London, by way of Paris, Basile has performed in some of Europe’s most prestigious clubs (Comedy Store, Up the Creek, Golden Comedy Club) and is now touring the Old Continent. Basile was the opening act for PV and Ilies Mella’s London appearances.
